Michael Humphris

Chairman

Mr Humphris is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand, a member of AICD and senior associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He has over 40 years' experience and continues to undertake consulting engagements in the field of corporate reconstructions and capital raisings for new ventures.  Mr Humphris is currently Chair of VicForests, a state-owned enterprise responsible for the harvest (c3,000 ha pa), commercial sale and re-growing of timber from Victoria and is a non-Executive Director of Simonds Group Ltd, one of Australia’s leading residential home builders with operations throughout the East Coast States and South Australia. Formerly he was Chair of CNPR Ltd; a Non-Executive Director (and former Chair) of Tox Free Solutions Ltd; and a Director of Duesbury's, Ernst & Whinney, Ernst & Young, Andersen and BDO Kendalls.

Julius Matthys

CEO

Mr Matthys, B.Com UWA, has significant executive experience having spent 36 years in the resources sector. He has held senior executive roles including President Worsley Alumina JV, Marketing Director BHP Iron Ore,  Alumina and Aluminium. He has worked in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and The Netherlands. He is currently Chair of Doray Minerals Ltd and Chair of Council at John XXIII College. Mr Matthys was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Quintis on 3 April 2017.

Mel Ashton

Non-Executive Director

Mr Ashton holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and Graduate of the AICD Directors Course. He has over 35 years' experience and leverages his strategic approach and business network in his role as a specialist in Corporate Restructuring and Finance and as a Professional Company Director, including his current Non-Executive Director roles at Aurora Labs Ltd and the Hawaiian Property Group. Mr Ashton has been Chair on the Boards of the ASX listed companies Gryphon Minerals Ltd, Venture Minerals Ltd, Resource Development Group Ltd and Empired Ltd amongst others. His former roles include President and Director of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Vice President and Director of Fremantle Football Club Ltd, Chairman of Cullen Wines (Australia) Pty Ltd and Acting CEO of Royal Flying Doctor Service (2017-18).

Rod Sutton

Non-Executive Director

Mr Sutton has over 25 years' experience in business advisory and management. He is currently a Special Advisor to the Asia Pacific region of FTI Consulting and is based in Hong Kong. Upon joining FTI Consulting in 2010, a professional services and consulting business listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Rod was appointed as its Chairman of Asia Pacific. He had oversight of all elements of the Asia Pacific business including FTI Consulting’s numerous client-facing activities, regional and global strategy, vetting of acquisition opportunities and management of all support functions including but not limited to the Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing and Operations departments. Also, he was a member of FTI Consulting’s global Executive Committee. He moved back to a full client facing role in June 2017 as a Special Advisor. Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr Sutton was an Executive Director of Ferrier Hodgson with whom he commenced his career in Melbourne in 1988. He relocated permanently to Hong Kong in 2002.

Shaun Fraser

Non-Executive Director

Mr Fraser was a foundation partner of the Corporate Advisory Firm McGrathNicol and has extensive experience undertaking complex restructuring and turnaround assignments in capital reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions and formal insolvency appointments in Australia and internationally. Throughout his career, Mr Fraser has provided expert guidance involving business improvement, strategic planning and working capital management. He has experience across a range of industries including resources, engineering and construction, property, agribusiness, and financial services.
