1. ETHICAL USE OF COSMETICS:

The use of animals to test cosmetics and toiletries is becoming increasingly unacceptable globally with consumers frowning on the practice as well as many jurisdictions legislating on the practice.

2. POLICY:

Quintis Sandalwood Pty Ltd is completely opposed to the use of animals for cosmetics research. The practice is both unnecessary, cruel and contravenes the moral and ethical standards of the company.

Quintis Sandalwood does not conduct animal testing on any of its products or raw ingredients and does not require that suppliers of products purchased by Quin tis Sandalwood conduct animal testing on our behalf.

Quintis Sandalwood Pty Ltd confirms compliance with

• The animal testing ban according to European Commissions Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EEC­REGULATION (EC) No. 1223/2009, Chapter V, Article 18, effective 2013
• The Australian Governments Department of Health ban on the use of animal testing data for cosmetics, according to The Industrial Chemicals Act 2019.
• Guidelines published by the Food and Drug Administration at the date if this policy.
